| Military: | Arthur was attested into the military on 3 August 1892 - he stated he had completed training with 3rd Battalion Norfolk Regiment, and was willing to join the Royal Artillery, and was pronounced fit for service the same day. He joined 2/1 Depot Division, Royal Artillery, ser. no. 91808. He was transferred on 7 October 1892 to 38th Field Battery, Royal Artillery, driver. He was recommended for discharge on 6 April 1893 due to epilepsy. Arthur finally left the service on 26.04.1893, having served for 267 days. |
